It's My LIfe

Where do i begin?

Well. My sister Sabrina was flooded out of her home. She has two small boys and they are now technically they are homeless. Their house was completely destroyed!! They have lost everything that was down stairs and the poor hamster was last seen floating thorugh the water, dead. They are staying with Sabrina's boyfriend until she can be re-homed.

That isn't the worse news.

Sabrina called me this morning. She has cancer :(:(

I just don't know what to do. She's my baby sister and all these years while i was worried about myself getting cancer (it runs through our family) i didn't think about Sabrina getting it.

I love my sister very much. She has been the only person there all my life and i'll be devastated if we lose her...........

To make matters worse i still haven't receieved my uni results :(

Help!!!!!!

I've waited a couple of days to post this, but those of you who have me on your facebook will notice that i changed my profile thingy to "Sal is feeling sad today".

Well there is a good reason.

That day i had made contact with someone i hadn't spoken to in 18 months, only to find that her eight year old daughter had been raped.

For those of you who don't know, i was sexually abused when i was child, several times by different men and it scarred me for life. As a teenager i found relationships very difficult and as an adult even more so. It has only been through a mixture of therepy and anti-depressants that i have managed to see a way through it at all.

Hearing the news not only brought back the emotions i felt at the time of the abuse but it made me upset and fearful for Alaska, the little girl who was raped. I can see what she is going to go through and it hurts me to think that this sweet, beautiful innocent child, will carry all the pain and darkness that comes with going through something like that.

I can only hope and pray that she finds the strength to get through it and that she has the love of her family to help her.

I was floating around www.friendsreunited.co.uk like you do and to my surprise i had a message from someone that i used to go to school with!!
I emailed her and told her a little bit about me and because i couldn't remember which Amanda she was, i asked her for more details and to my surprise she is the Amanda that i was good friends with for a while until she left.

She's been through a lot bless her and we've been emailing back and forth since last night. I've left her my numbers and hopefully i'll get a phonecall.....

Hello children.

Well here is another rambling post from the mouth of Sal.

Everything is going ok my end for one. Well mostly.

Connor has just turned 10! My son! 10!! It's very scarey that i am the mum to a ten year old! I don't know if i feel old, too young or both! His birthday was amazing. We had the swimming pool set up in the back garden and a barbecue. There were 10 children, five adults and no booze lol. We had a great time. I got soaked (surprise surprise) and sun burnt. 

My shoulders are hurting and between my boobs, but hey ho, i'll go nice and brown in a few day, yay!

I went out the 2nd for my friend Viki's birthday and had an amazing time!! We got quite drunk, and the girls looked gorgeous in their 1940's get ups. I stuck to normal clothes though cos i'm a boring fart. Big shout out to Carolyn, Briony, Sean, Chris, Viki, Jane, Clare and Joe!!!!

I've finally finished all my exams (including my GCSE which went better than i thought it was going to) and i'm semi free for the summer!! Just got a Pantomime to write and a million books to read! Oh and a garden to make all pretty.

The only interesting thing is my ex boyfriend has contacted me! Just a hello for now, but it'll be interesting to see what he has to say...

My life is good. Well mostly.

Uni has been going really well. I have the best group of friends ever. We are all really close and love spending time together. My uni work is going ok and should be all prepared for my exams.

Each of my friends are all different and i can turn to them all for different things.

Viki is my momma. When ever i'm having problems with Connor or i need to talk about my creative writing, she is there for me.
We seem like complete opposite but, we connect so well, it's like i've know her all my life.

Sam is my sister. It's spooky how much we have in commom as far as families are concerned. She's amazing. She's my rock.  And i'm so glad that i have her in my life.

Sean is the baby brother i always wanted. He's fabby, he makes me laugh and it feels like we can talk for hours (and we do).

And Jane, ah Jane. The other love of my life. My wifey. I cannot express just how much i love this woman lol.

All really good friends for very different reasons. And i am sooo glad that not only am i close to them all, but they all get really well too. I'm a lucky lady.

The only bad thing in my life at the moment is the situation with my mother. 

For years she has bullied, pressured and hurt me, and i've had enough!! We had a huge row and now i've made the final decision to walk away from her. For good.

Friendships are funny things aren't they? 

I am in the fotunate position that i have a few very decent friends. They are there for me, they value my friendship and they know that i would do anything for them.

Unfortunatly not all people are so wonderful. It can feel devasting to feel that someone who you have been close to, doesn't value you as much as you thought.

So what do you do? Do you rant and rave at them and try to make them understand just how rejected and used they have made you feel? Or do you leave it and never talk about it with them and hope that you can get over feeling horrible and not live with any resentment?

Last night i dreamt that i was buying a house that my sister had been evicted from, and this gorgeous guy was showing me around and showing me how things worked.

Then i dreamt that i was stood on the hill near our shop and talking to a friend of ours, and watching a tennis ball bounce up and down the hill, it bounced down passed us, bounced off off the walls in the hospital carpark, and then back up the hill, it bounced passed us and then down the hill again. We thought there must be something special so we chased it down the hill...

Then i was the owner of a very posh hotel and Daniel Craig was staying in the top floor in the presidential suite. I went up to see him and when i went to see him, the door led downstairs to a huge swimming pool, and went swimming. Naked!!

That was a good dream lol

Potty potty potty!!!

An elderly couple walk into a fast food restaurant. They order one hamburger, one order of fries and one drink. The old man unwraps the plain hamburger and carefully cuts it in half. He places one half in front of his wife. He then carefully counts out the fries, dividing them into two piles and neatly placing one pile in front of his wife. He takes a sip of the drink, his wife takes a sip and then sets the cup down between them. As he begins to eat his few bites of hamburger, the people around them keep looking over and whispering "That poor old couple - all they can afford is one meal for the two of them." As the man begins to eat his fries a young man comes to the table. He politely offers to buy another meal for the old couple. The old man replies that they''re just fine - they''re just used to sharing everything. The surrounding people noticed the little old lady hadn''t eaten a bite. She sits there watching her husband eat and occasionally taking turns sipping the drink. Again the young man comes over and begs them to let him buy another meal for them. This time the old woman says "No, thank you, we are used to sharing everything." As the old man finishes and was wipes his face neatly with the napkin, the young man again comes over to the little old lady who had yet to eat a single bite of food and asks "May I ask what is it you are waiting for?"

 The old woman answers... "THE TEETH."

First i dreamt i was on America's Next Top Model! Tyra told me that my walk was gross lol

And it's typical, i want to tell you all about my other dream and i can't remember it lol

Home now and watching my friend's kids while they do various things for Ellie's birthday, she's seven today bless her lol.

Made up with my friend, she finally understood that i was annoyed and why, so all is ok with the world again yay!!

I'm going to try and get some creative writing done this evening after the party and maybe even get all of chapter one written provisionally yay!!

Note to Viki: Thanks for being a good friend and listening to me rant on about stuff, it's good to know i have someone that i can trust to talk to. It's good to know we feel the same about stuff and that i wasn't being paranoid lol.

Bloody hell!! i watch far too much telly!!

I got my Renaissance essay back and i got a 53%.

To say i was dissapointed is an understatement and i think that Marlow really hates me.

Ho hum.

Anyhoo, my girls were brilliant and very supportive as always.

In the lecture afterwards i worked out my average for the year so far, and it's 60.2%, which isn't bad yay!!

I've also had a major falling out with a friend and it's stupid, but i don't know whatdo about it as she's saying that i have done something wrong, which i can't see, but i have apologised and that doesn't seem to be enough.

HO HUM INDEED.
